I’ve started building a photojournalism portfolio. i know sports play a big part in photojournalism. Although that is definitely not where my main interest is, I want to get that experience. So far it’s been fun! Here are a few shots.. more to come.

hofsos landscapes

The first photograph is a landscape take in a small Icelandic town called Hofsós. (follow this link to read more about this fishing town http://www.northwest.is/1hofsos.asp). The second photograph is taken at the site of a turf house looking out at the landscape. It was on our way back to Reykjavik from Hofsós.

revere beach, boston mass.

these are some images from revere beach which is a suburb outside of boston, mass. there are also a few from downtown boston. there are many weddings in the parks. revere is a typical beach town. from what i saw, it is a mostly hispanic population. there aren’t many people walking the streets, and there aren’t many people at the beach. the doors to the churches were locked. i don’t know where all the people are.
